Russian work visa for Indian: Costs, types, diff & more 2026

So friends, my name is Natalia and in today’s blog we will talk about Russia’s work permit. I have a Russia work permit for 2 years. It is available now. If I talk about the job, it is a light job. No heavy work. It is packing job and warehouse job.

And the most important thing is that it is a work permit. Directly from India the work permit will be processed.

I was getting many messages that people need jobs in Russia in packing or warehouse. So this is a very good option for those who need packing jobs. And this is also a very good opportunity for those earning 15, 20,000 in India or even 5,000. So this is a good job option for them if they are satisfied with 15, 20,000 or 25,000 in India. Before starting the blog, I want to share something I have noticed while working in Armenia for the last 3 years.

I have been working in Armenia for about 3 years. I came in 2023. 23, 24, 25, 26, now 26 is going on, so almost 3 years. What I have noticed is that if someone tells a lie and pushes you in that direction, many people believe it. People often trust lies easily, and later when someone tells the truth, they think that person is wrong. This is something I have observed for years. The one telling lies seems right, and the one telling truth seems wrong in people’s eyes. This is how thinking often works. This is not personal, just a general observation. Many people will understand what I mean.

These days, it feels like the time of lies rather than truth. I get many messages daily like “my agent said this, my agent said that.” I tell them they are being misled. Once someone gets trapped in lies, it becomes very hard to come out of it. Even if ten people tell the truth, they still follow the lie. This is something you can observe yourself.

Now coming back to the Russia work permit.

This work permit is for 2 years. From India it is processed as a 3-month visa, and after reaching there it is extended. The warehouse company extends it to 2 years. If we calculate fully, it becomes around 2.5 years, but we consider it as 2 years work permit.

Processing time is 60 to 75 days, around 2 to 2.5 months. If someone can wait that much time, they can apply. If not, they should not apply.

Eligibility:

First, 10th pass is required. Passport must be non-ECR. ECR passport is not allowed. If you do not have 10th mark sheet, you cannot go. You must have 10th pass certificate and non-ECR passport.

Age limit is 19 to 40 years. Below or above this age is not eligible.

Jobs include packing work, warehouse work, fruit packing, and vegetable packing.

Duty time is 10 hours per day with one weekly off.

Room is free from company side. Food expense is your own.

Salary is ₹55,000 which is approximately ₹60,000 in Indian currency. Food expenses in Russia are around ₹5,000 to ₹7,000, roughly ₹10,000. Since room is free, most of the money can be saved.

This is a 2-year work permit, not an e-visa.

This process is only from India. If someone is already in Russia or Armenia, this opportunity is not available for them.

One reason for lower salary is tax. On e-visa, tax is not applied in the same way, so salaries look higher. But on work permit, Russian government records everything and tax is applied. The company has to pay tax, so salary is adjusted accordingly. That is why salaries are lower compared to e-visa jobs.

However, benefits include accommodation, transport, and medical support provided by the company.
